This trailer suffered from advertising-agency-gone-rampant syndrome.
It miscommunicated one of the most important story themes holding the game’s structure together as one of my favourite experiences from last year, Elizabeth’s relationship with the world of Columbia. They misconstrue her character so much in comparison to what we see in game, that I’m surprised this got the green light, and to top it off, they convey her as someone who is weak and needs a good ol’ fashioned saving in the process.
Medal to the person who made that decision.
